Abstract
Based on the comparison between the traditional security analysis and the vulnerability analysis for the electric power grid,three typical vulnerability assessment models are presented:absolute vulnerability,relative vulnerability and sensitive vulnerability.The main research aspects,such as the energy function based voltage vulnerability and the complex networks theory based structure vulnerability,are analyzed.It is pointed out that,as a real-time nonlinear complex network system,the vulnerability of electric power grid is correlated to both running state and net structure,and any analysis from one aspect is deficient.An integrated vulnerability index made up of inherent vulnerability,running parameters,risk evaluation and other vulnerable factors is proposed.
