Research on the Security Model of Web Services Based on SOAP Gateway

Abstract

With the Web Services applications in various fields,enterprise information and network security is facing a huge challenge by a significant increase,which is seriously hindering the development of Web Services.Web Services are primarily accessed by using SOAP over HTTP in practice.As SOAP provides no message security,other ways of securing messages are required.This paper studies the most important security model for SOAP, WS-Security,and its related specifications.A model of Web Services based on SOAP gateway is proposed,which can improve the security of Web Services application through simulation experiments.
