Abstract

Nuisance is an important remedy of common law in US. The purpose of traditional nuisance is to protect the land owner and his property. At present, nuisance is an important remedy for environmental victims.Nuisance includes private nuisance and public nuisance. Nuisance provides more types of remedy than regulation;therefore, it is more applicable.
