Abstract
Through practical engineering of the design of residential quarter,the author discusses the performance and characteristics of short-pier shear wall extensively used on the stage,proposes simple and feasible design method,and summarizes several design elements combined with the contrast between new and old code in the design of structural system,in order to solve the problem of shear wall arrangement.
