Abstract

To investigate the clinical Results of phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in diabetics. Methods Phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation was performed on 67 eyes of 56 diabetics patients. Postoperative complications and visual acuity were observed. Results All patients got the better visual acuity after surgery. The main postoperative complications were aqueous flare , corneal edema , anterior chamber fibrous formation and hyphema. Conclusion Pacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in diabetics with blood sugar well controlled is save and effective.
