DISCUSSION AND APPLICATION OF THE WATER CUT INCREASING LAW OF IN WATER-FLOODING OILFIELD

Increasing rate and increasing velocity of water cut were both of comprehensive indexes which reflected geological factor and exploitive factor of the oilfield development. They were also core indexes of evaluating development effect and forecasting indexes. The theoretical relationship formula of increasing rate of water cut and water ratio was set up based on A-type and C-type flooding characteristic curve, meanwhile, the linear relationship between increasing rate and increasing velocity of water cut was given, and the slope was oil recovery rate. The theoretical relationship formula of water ratio and water cut increasing velocity of and oil recovery rate was presented. The formula could be used for evaluating the relation of water cut and oil recovery rate. The application results indicated that the formulas were practical. The researching fruits had stronger guidance value in the theory research and practice application.
