Abstract
Research on rough set theory has been focused on rough set extended models for incomplete information system for recent years. The general binary relation-based variable rough set model is proposed on the bases of rough set models based on tolerance relation,non-symmetrical similarity relation and limited-tolerance relation, which is the generalization of rough set models based on various of special binary relations(e.g.tolerance relation,non-symmetrical similarity relation, limited tolerance relation, valued tolerance relation and etc.),and of variable-precision rough set model for incomplete information system. The properties of variable rough set model for incomplete information system are further studied in this paper.
