A Brief Discussion about Poetry on Poetic Creation by Li Bai & Du Fu

Abstract
In the splendid ancient culture of traditional Chinese poetry,it is Li Bai(701-762) and Du Fu(712-770)who have first written poems on poetic creation.Such poems by these two great poets in Tang Dynasty have not been left so much,but they have a great influence on the later generations because of peculiar style and rich thoughts on literature.In this article,the author tries to probe into the special values of such poems by discussing about and making a comparison between the poets' outlooks on literature,literary criticism and literature creation.
