Cultural Anthropological Analysis about Ancestor Worship of the Han Ethnic Group in Modern Times——Taking the Ritual for Ancestor Worship of the Chen Clan in Luo Bei of Le An as an Example

Ritual for ancestor worship as a part of the Chinese traditional culture is under constant onslaught of modernization in the countryside.This paper takes the ritual for ancestor worship of the Chen clan in Luo Bei of Le An as the individual case,analyzing its inherent cultural connotations of unwilling to leave native land,reverence for the ancestors,a symbol of land ownership and show of authority.It points out that the worship has reinforced people's concept of clan and has the dual impact of promoting and hindering on constructing a harmonious society of rural areas in China.
