Abstract
The development and theory of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR)microspectroscopy were introduced in this paper. And the application of FTIR microspectroscopy have been reviewed and introduced systematically to the study on High-Performance Fibers. Through some practical examples, the differences from the common FTIR spectroscopy and the characteristics of FTIR microspectroscopy have also been analysed.
