Abstract
To evaluate the anti_emetic effect and toxicity of tropisetron in children with malignant tumor who received chemotherapy.Tropisetron was given to 30 children with malignant tumor.Generally, tropisetron (5mg/m2·d,maximum 5mg/d) was administered intravenously in chemotherapy. The response rate in controlling nausea was 76 1%~95 6%,while in controlling vomiting was 76 1%~97 8%.No serious adverse effect was observed.[Conclusion]Tropisetron is effect and safe in children with malignant tumor.
