Abstract
Benthic fauna plays important role in substance and energy conversion as a part of the river ecosystem. The influence of reservoir construction on benthic fauna obtains growing concern. Gray relation method is adopted to confirm the key environmental constraints factors through collecting data of benthic fauna and environmental factors thereof after the completion of hydropower station. It is known through computation and analysis that total phosphorus has the highest relation with benthic fauna. The correlation degree is 0. 6828. The maintenance of diversity of benthic fauna community can be prompted through the effective control of key environmental factors,which has important practical significance to maintain the health of the river ecosystem.
