Issues of Historical Geography in Regions South of the Five Ridges in Qin and Han Dynasty

As far as the divisions of the regions south of the Five Ridges in Qin and Han Dynasty are concerned,there exist mistakes in some Chinese historical geography maps which are now widely used.Borderlines of the three counties established in the Qin Dynasty are not exactly those of Guangdong,Guangxi and Vietnam today;the capital of Guilin County is not located in today's Baise;and the southern border of Xiang County is supposed to be somewhere in the central and southern part of the present Vietnam(close to 13° latitude north) while the northern border is in the southeastern part of Guizhou.Xiang County in Western Han Dynasty is only the northern part of Xiang County in Qin Dynasty,with its southern border a little further south to the present borderline between China and Vietnam,and its capital Linchen located in today's Chongzuo City.
