Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of high frequency color Doppler ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of breast neoplasm. Methods Totally 362 nodes in 284 patients were evaluated with high frequency color Doppler ultrasound. The shape, edge, inner hoes,axial/transverse(L/T)ratio,calcification and Doppler signals of penetrating vessels in the breast masses were analyzed. The results were compared with those of pathology. Results The coincidence rates of high frequency color Doppler ultrasound to breast malignant node were 88.8%(87/98).The rates of high frequency color Doppler ultrasound to breast benign node were 90.5%(239/264)Conclusion High frequency color Doppler ultrasound plays an important role in the differential diagnosis of breast neoplasm. The combination of statistical significance ultrasonographic signs can improve the differential diagnosis accuracy of benign and malignant breast neoplasm.
