Abstract
Diversity is the nature of the city, and the land is the carrier of spatial diversity. How to guide the mixed use of urban land by planning in order to adapt to the composite properties of urban land function has always been the hot topic of urban planning. This paper reviews the practical studies of home and abroad in terms of mixed use of urban land, and summarizes five specific measures to guide the planning of mixed use of urban land:optimizing classifications, introducing mixed use, defining composition, constraining measures, delineating areas. It's expected that these measures can be shared by planning practitioners.
