Abstract

On the basis of the technology of general Ni-P electroless coating, different quantity of nanometer SiC powder is put into Ni-P solution. And how nanometer SiC particles and the concentration of SiC in the solution affect coating rate and film propertier are discussed. The results reveal that coating rate and film hardness increase much by putting proper nanometer SiC particles in the solution. The rate can reach 68.4μm/h and the film hardness can reach 1650HV .
