Ding Ling in a Transition Period:The Analysis of "Dual Life"and Her Tragic Fate

Ding Ling is a best representative of those intellectuals who devoted themselves to the revolution,and its devourment by revolution certainly has great value and significance to reconsider.To investigate Ding Ling’s whole life,it can be found that there exists an inherent tension and confli her congenital personal factors and pureness and sense of organization which are required by revolution,that is,there is always a dual life which shows differently comparing the revolution requirements and her specific character,this is also the sticking point which leads her historical fate.In such transition period (around 1949),Ding Ling performed such a contradiction combination,which carried a foreshadowing of what was to follow later on in her tragic life.
