Abstract

The deflation is harmful to economy and society. Now many countries all over the world are fighting against deflation. The western countries have made deeper theoretic research on the causes and resolving methods of deflation than our country; many of the western research accomplishment on deflation to different extent can be used for explaining deflationary problem in china too. Therefore, it helps to analyze the causes and influence factors of deflation in china; predict the development trend of deflation; find out the effective resolving measures of deflation to comprehensively realize the development of the western deflationary theories in the twentieth century.
