Abstract

The application of busbar protection is significant to protect equipments connected to LV/MV busbar.Busbar current differential protection features fast trip and high stability and can fully meet selectiveness and rapidness requirements of LV/MV busbar.Due to complicacy and flexibility of LV/MV busbar main connection,it is relatively difficult to configure busbar current differential protection.The paper presents a basic configuration principle.Due complicated main connection can be decomposed to some simple main connections according to busbar sections,several busbar protection equipments to cover simple main connections can be combined to achieve the whole busbar protection.Based on the detailed analysis of existing problems for the protection combination scheme,two novel methods are proposed to prevent possible mal-operation.The methods are proved efficiency that can be taken as a reference for other projects.
