Geological Characteristics and Prospecting Criteria of the Saishitang Copper Deposit in Qinghai Province

Saishitang copper deposit is located in metallogenic province Elashan ore belt,and is one important part of this belt.In this paper,we first introduce the regional geological setting and mining geology of Saishitang copper deposit.On the basis of analyzing those geological backgrounds,we then summarize in detail the orebody characteristics、ore characteristics and the alteration type of country rocks within the ore mining.We also systematically analyze and summarize various indirections for prospecting.As a conclusion,we hold that Saishitang copper deposit has good prospects and should increase the intensity of further work.
