The treatment of humbar diac herniation by percutaneous radiofrequency mucleoplasty

Objective To explore the clinical outcome and effect in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation by percutaneous radiofrequency nucleoplasty.Method 186 patients with lumbar disc herniation received percu-taneous radiofrequency mucleoplasty were evaluated.Result Coblation nucleopasties for all the patients were successful.152 patients were followed prospectively from 3 to 24 months.the results were excellent in 52 patients,good 78 patients,fair 16 patients and bad 6 patients.the cure rate was 85.5%,the general clinical effective rate was 96%.Conclusion The percutaneous nucleoplasty has been found to be an effective,rapid,minimally in-vasive and safe procedure for lunbar disc herniation.
