The Current Research State of the Virtual Experiment and Its Significance in Teaching

Experimental teaching is quite important for universities and colleges to cultivate high-quality and skillful talent,and should be highly emphasized.With the development of information technology,virtual experiment as an effective complement of traditional experimental teaching has become an important means to enhance the practice of teaching and improve the quality of teaching.Virtual experiments can effectively solve the problem of inadequate equipment in laboratory,and can also be used to carry out scientific research.Vir-tual experiment is that using computers and simulation software to simulate the laboratory conditions and pro-cesses.To carry out virtual experiments,the concept,characteristics and function of virtual experiment should be understood first;In addition,the current status of virtual experiment used at home and abroad should be ex-amined,as well as the prospects of virtual experiment.In this paper,the classification of the virtual experi-ment,and the significance and application of virtual experiment in experimental teaching are discussed,based on the analysis of the basic theory of the virtual experiment.
