Abstract
This paper introduces the definition,current application and development trend of high- performance steel as well as the index of characteristic of steel for construction. For the industrial characteristic of steel structure for construction,the author mainly discusses the welding technology of high- performance steel,and puts forward the selection,use,inspection,test,thermal cutting and thermal straightening of high- performance steel,especially about the selection of welding method,matching of welding material as well as the correct method and guiding principle of welding procedure qualification.
