Abstract

An active anti-theft alarm system for vehicles is designed in this paper, which realizes real-time anti-theft alarm function . This system adopts SMS and MMS via GPRS as data transmission way by means of the wireless communication network data channels . The system not only uses the multi-sensors to monitor the conditions of vehicles but also adds the real-time image acquisition function and collects the data of the vehicle positions through GPS. Several experiments show that the system meets the demands of the real-time anti-theft alarm function for vehicles completely
