Abstract
The catalysts and processes for conversion of heavy aromatics to light one were reviewed, especially those for catalytic hydrodealkylation and transalkylation. Most catalysts for the conversion to light aromatics were acidic.Development of solid acid catalysts with small particle size, larger pore diameters and good inhibition of coke formation, especially those for hydrodealkylation and transalkylation,is the trends in this field.
