Abstract
Communitarianism is the result of the extreme individualism and is also the remedy for the individualism. Communitarianism emphasizes that community is superior to individual, public interests are superior to the personal rights, and virtuous precedes justice. Communitarianism regards morality as the basis of the community relationship. The inspiration of communitarianism to the building of harmonious society is: we need to pay great attention to moral education, lay stress on the civic education, ethics education and basic values education, cultivate students' civic awareness and human personality.
