Abstract
To the problems that automobile brake energy transforms the heat energy by the mechanical friction,a new type of energy storage the flywheel stored energy way is presented.The model is made of a rectifier unit,the two inverter units,two three-phase asynchronous motors,a flywheel energy storage unit and load pose.The working principle and energy conservation principle of flywheel energy storage are introducted.DC bus voltage rises in the process of flywheel releasing energy,so system uses PI control algorithm to make the energy delivery continuous between the flywheel and trams.Flywheel energy storage unit can replace the traditional chemical battery energy storage method and the test results show that flywheel energy storage has better characteristics.
