Abstract

The construction mode of geographic information system(GIS) for drainage network in middle and small cities is presented.The information management system for drainage network in Shaoxing City is developed using this mode.The system function and key technologies are emphatically analyzed.The system can make up the limitations in conventional management methods and highly enhance work efficiency.The practice indicates that the mode is effective and practical.
