Integrated Treatment of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Western Medicine for Sudden Deafness of 34 Cases

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese acupuncture combined with western medicine on patients with sudden deafness.Methods:102 cases were devided into three groups randomly.The first group received traditional Chinese acupuncture combined with western medicine;the second group was treated by western medicine and the third group treated by traditional Chinese acupuncture.Hearing was tested after 20 days' treatment.Results:Traditional Chinese acupuncture combined with western medicine was proved to be more obvious than the western medicine and the traditional Chinese acupuncture( P 0.05).Conclusion:The integrated therapy of traditional Chinese acupuncture combined with western medicine can promote the hearing of sudden deafness obviously.
