The Importance of Architectural Design in Urban Planning Design

Abstract

Urban planning design level has a direct impact on economic, cultural and social aspects of city, and may even relates to the future development of the city. Architectural design is an important part of urban planning design, and also the basic factor influencing urban planning design. This paper describes the shortcomings of the old architectural design and the features of new architectural design.The application of new architectural design in engineering is analyzed by actual case and the importance of architectural design in urban planning design is summarized.
