Abstract

Casein protein polymorphism has a major impact on milk composition,milk production traits and cheesemaking properties of milk.The casein variants are effective tools for studies of breed traits and evolution.The distribution,research methods,and the relation with milk properties of casein polymorphism were reviewed in this paper.
