Abstract

The directional blasting method of trapezoid blasting cut was applied to dismantle a 94 m high reinforced concrete chimney in Dalian,and got success.According to the structure of the chimney and blasting environment,reasonable parameters of blasting cut were chosen.Tentative blasting,beforehand demolition and safety protection were made to ensure the chimney collapse successfully,and flying rock and vibration are well controlled.It gets good blasting effect and provides reference to similar blasting demolition engineering.
