Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinicopathologic characteristics of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed in Panzhihua according to newly proposed WHO classification of non Hodgkin's lymphoma.Methods A total of 193 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed in five hospital in Panzhihua area were enrolled in this study.All cases were classified according to new WHO classification of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.Clinical data,including age,gender,and site of disease involvement and phothology,were reviewed.Results Among the 193 cases,139 were of B-cell lymphomas,54 were of T-cell lymphomas.Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,extranodal marginal zone lymphoma,and nasal extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma were the most common subtypes.In these cases,123 were extranodal lymphoma,70 were lymph node lymphoma.The three most common extrandal sites were the gastrointestinal tract,nose and mouth.In these patients,137 were men and 56 were women.Conclusion The rate of extranolad lymphoma is higher than lymph node lymphoma in Panzhihua.Most lymphoma patients were men.It has a higher incidence of nasal extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma in Panzhihua.
