Abstract
The change of groundwater table is the most important factor for indicating the ecological change in continental river basin in arid land.Taking the lower reaches of Tarim River as an example, with the few data of monitoring wells, this research attempted to utilize united regression estimate analysis of classification and segmentation from horizontal and vertical aspects to simulate the distribution of groundwater.Based on the 1∶10 000 map database of DEM the spatialization of digital groundwater depth was realized by use of GIS technique. In the end, accuracy analysis was proceeded by real-time data of ecological monitoring wells and the relation between groundwater and natural vegetation, and so the conclusion was that the method has great feasibility in arid inland river area in the case that there is less monitoring data of groundwater level and the hydrogeological condition is comparatively single.
