A SWOT-Based Analysis of Development Strategy of Jiangxi's Modern Agriculture

The development of modern agriculture in Jiangxi Province is not only the internal demand of developing a strong agricultural province,but also the objective necessity to ensure national food security.This paper conducted a SWOT-based systematic discussion about the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges for developing Jiangxi's modern agriculture.Then it proposed some development strategies,which include adhering to the strategy of balancing urban and rural development and synchronous development of agricultural modernization,urbanization,and industrialization,strengthening the supporting system of modern agriculture construction,building a modern agricultural industry structure with unique characteristics,encouraging the circulation of farmland,and promoting the supporting capability of science and technology.
