Abstract
The review summarizes various derivatization reagents and corresponding derivatization processes of amino acid analysis in different method on the bases of different testing instruments and methodologies, including reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC),high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS),gas chromatography(GC),gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and capillary electrophoresis(CE).It discussed the advantage and disadvantage of all kinds of derivatiaztion methods mentioned and the prosmising prospect of the amino acid derivatiaztion techniques. The improvement of derivatization technology and sample pretreatment of amino acid in the fields of related disease diagnosis and metabolomics studies were prospected.
