Abstract
In order to magnify the output displacement of piezoelectric actuators,a displacement magnifying mechanism with flexible hinges was developed for piezoelectric actuators. Its parametric modeling method was proposed, and it was also analyzed by using ANSYS software parametric design language for finite element analysis. The test results indicate that the linearity degree is high between the output displacement and the input displacement of the magnifying mechanism with flexible hinges, and the error of the real output displacement of the magnifying mechanism with flexible hinges is below five percent by the data on principle of displacement magnifying mechanism output displacement. It is proved that the mechanism can meet the requirements of the displacement magnification.
