Abstract
How to do well the cold protection insulation design of residential building in severe cold area was discussed from layout of building,setting of balcony and architectural construction,the influence of several main factors was analyzed in cold protection insulation design,and the solution to common questions in residential building design in severe cold area and measurement and methods were provided.
