Abstract
Objective To explore in vitro combination effect of chloroquine and fluconazole on Cryptococcus neoformans.Medthod Chloroquine at different concentrations were tested with fluconazole on their effect on sminimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) and minimum fungicidal concentration(MFC) of fluconazole on 20 isolates of C.s neoforman.Result At concentrations higher than 100 μmol/L,chloroquine could obviously decrease both MIC and MFC of fluconazole on C.neoformans.Conclusions Chloroquine could enhance the ability of fluconazole against C.neoformans and they may have synergistic effect on C.neoformans.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
