Research on GIS data collection method based AUTO CAD

Abstract

The efficiency of GIS data surveying is very low because attribute information of entity is surveyed by hand,and data manipulation is very complicated,so digital surveying way of GIS data based AUTO CAD is proposed in this paper.The method of coding attribute information of entity to realize digital survey is studied.As a result,the problem of storing GIS data in AUTO CAD graph data bank and transforming GIS data in AUTO CAD into GIS is resolved.Thus the efficiency of GIS data surveying will be improved greatly.
