Abstract

The ecological footprint analysis was a new calculation method of ecological carrying capacity. From the principle of ecological footprint analysis,it analyzed and statisticsed the ecological footprint of the consumption of biological resources, carbon sequestration and land for construction in Chengdu,by per capita ecological deficit 1.183gha which was the more serious ecological deficit areas. The result showed that the influence of nature in the region was beyond the scope of its ecological carrying capacity and needed to be adjusted.
