Abstract
Objective To analyze the value of direct contrast MR venography in the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis of low limbs. Methods Twenty-four patients with direct contrast MR venography were retrospectively reviewed. Seventeen out of 24 patients have undertaken sonography simultaneously. Results In the 17 patients with sonography, the sensitivity and specificity of direct contrast MR venography for the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis of low limbs was 92.3% and 93.8%. Conclusion Direct contrast MR venography could be used for evaluation of deep vein thrombosis of low limbs.
