Abstract
Based on the finite element method of the saturated-unsaturated seepage, the saturated-unsaturated transient seepage field of high soil slope is simulated under the condition of rainfall. An improvement of processing of the rainfall infiltration boundary is proposed, and the improved processing is suitable for calculation of the saturated-unsaturated transient seepage field of the high soil slope. The calculation results of sand tank model and high soil slope model show that the method proposed in this paper is advisable;the matrix suction is loses on account of the rainwater infiltration, and the matrix suction loses fastest at the beginning of rainfall;loss velocity of the matrix suction depends mainly on infiltration capacity of soils, when rainfall intensity is larger than the infiltration capacity of soils.
