Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of the multi-function digital gastrointestinal machine for hysterosalpingography in order to diagnose the female infertility. Methods Totally 2 153 infertility patients were analyzed retrospectively for the hysterosalpingography data by multi-function digital gastrointestinal machine, and the images and experiences were summarized. Results The patients with abnormal uterus accounted for the rate of 5.57%, of which, 89 congenital ones had the rate of 4.13%. There were 12 hysteromyoma patients(0.56%), 19 intrauterine adhesion patients(0.88%), 568 cases with partially obstructed oviduct(26.38%) and 203 cases of misrouted oviduct(9.43%). The patients with abnormal oviduct accounted for the rate of 62.38%, of which, 197 ones(9.15%) had bilateral tubal obstruction and 375 ones(17.42%) had unilateral tubal obstruction. Conclusion Multi-function gastrointestinal machine behaves well in hysterosalpingography for the diagnosis of female infertility due to abnormal uterus or oviduct.
