Abstract

Some physio-biochemistry indexes were detected, including content of proline, soluble sugar, MDA nutritive organ, and chlorophyll content in upper parts in Lycium barbarum at different age in heavy salinized land. The results showed that the content of proline and MDA was higher compared with the control, soluble sugar content had not obvious change in shoots but accumulated significantly in roots. Chlorophyll content showed lower in shoots. These indexes had difference in different nutritive organs. The order of proline and soluble sugar content from high to low was followed as roots, leaves and young stems. Contents of MDA had a negative correlation to proline and soluble sugar. Every indexe changed with age of plant. The authors suggest that Lycium barbarum. has more salt-tolerance.
