Analysis on Creation of the Spatial Database Based on the Rural Power Distribution GIS

Abstract

Application of GIS in the power distribution network management system substantially facilitates the data management,and materially enhances productivity and efficiency,and therefore raises the enterprise's viability and adaptability in the market.This paper examines the existingconditions of the 10 kVdistribution network of Dongling District of Shenyang city,and presents development of the information system of the network management.Meanwhile,the paper introduces the development and the management of the spatial database for the system,as well as the solutions tothe common problems risingin the whole process.
