ANALYSIS FOR CLIENTS FROM VCT SERVICE ON HIV/AIDS

[Objective]To understand the HIV infection in people who received voluntary counseling and testing(VCT)services and those characteristics.[Methods]Made questionnaires survey and interviews on the people who sought counseling one to one.[Results]Of the 547 people seeking VCT services,HIV infection rate was 66.7%,and the most were 20 to 40 of which rate was 84.4%.The infection rate was 71.3% for the level of middle and primary school cultural,39.2% for farmers,94.7% for having history of drug injection,83.3% for MSM,82.4% for non-marital sexual acts.In those people who received VCT services,the principal parts were spouse or regular partner positives and non-marital sexual behaviors,the largest proportion was married spouses and the low proportion was MSM.[Conclusion]It should not only improve the service quality and level of VCT,but also increase VCT service points and provide better accessibility of HIV counseling for people who receive VCT.
