Abstract

Objective To analyze the mRNA levels of LIN28A in liver cancer cell lines and DEN-induced rat hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) samples, and study the function of LIN28A in tumorigenesis of HCC.Methods Examine the mRNA expression of LIN28A gene in liver cancer cells and DEN-induced rat HCC samples by real-time PCR.Detect the effect of LIN28A on cell migration and invasion of HCC.Results Real-time PCR showed that the expression of LIN28A was upregulated in twelve liver cancer cell lines and DEN-induced rat HCC.Transwell assay revealed that LIN28A overexpression significantly enhanced the cell migration and invasion of HCC.Conclusion Upregulation of LIN28A may be important for metastasis of HCC.
