Abstract
This paper discusses the significance and contents of establishing the integral spatial development framework among the cities in Yangtze River Delta region in the process of urbanization and with the rapid urban spatial development. And gives further research on the strategic spatial development on Metropolitan Shanghai,which based on the Yangtze River Delta region background.
