Abstract

The author constructs ACMAQ to measure currency mismatch in China from 1996 to 2005.We argue that China's currency mismatch is very serious, which has already brought huge losses. But at the same time,we don't need to overestimate the possibility of debt or currency crisis. In general, currency mismatch will be worsening in the short term.
